I've never been in a better place to watch sports... HD TV's everywhere plus a huge big screen. Good prices on drink and food specials. Food is good for the price. Friendly staff.

Everytime me and my friends go to cheers their servers always look like their pissed off and dont want to be there. service sucks and they never a smile. There was a server who came up to our group took one drink order and walked away to type it into the computer. Then she would come back and take one more order. That was going on all night untill we asked for another server , even with having another girl still sucked. The service sucks and i think its time to get a whole new staff.....or start caring about your bar and grill people.....no wonder your never busy!!!!!

Went to Cheers to watch the much anticipated UFC fight! Their first time showing it. Everything was going smooth until I was REFUSED a glass of water. My friends and I all ordered food and drinks. I was told on fight nights they only sell bottled water!.....at $3.50 for a small bottle. Unreal! Needless to say they lost our business for the rest of the night and the future! Cheers!

Every time I have been to Cheers the staff have been downright rude. It seems as though they are there only to visit each other.. On the last occasion the waitress was slow in every aspect, even though we were one of 4 tables in the place. She managed to stop by our table on only 2 occasions our entire 2 1/2 hour stay, but instead spent her time visiting with the bartener with whom she was obviously an item ( i had a lot of time to notice such things while I was waiting and waiting for my drinks). Then when the bill was delivered it was tossed rudely on the opposite side of the table, and back to the bar she went.

After months of not going to Cheers due to their bad service, I said alright to going there with two other friends at the beginning of this year. It was a Friday night and it was not at all busy in this establishment. There were the few drunk guys but that's to be expected. What was unexpected was what happened to me.

Shortly after finishing my meal (which wasn't anything special), someone kept moving around to all the different people. He wasn't all there. He came to me and said he was a soldier, and tried to keep up a conversation for a few minutes with me. He moved on shortly thereafter, only to return again. I don't know what it is he said but the entire contents of half-eaten food spewed onto me, my coat, my glasses, in my hair, everything! For at least one minute I slowly flicked off all this and received no assistance from management. I got up and went to a waitress and asked if that person would be assisted outside. Still without thinking of it as an odd annoyance, I got myself completely cleaned up.

When I returned, I saw the waitress talking to the other two at my table, but did not even say one word to me. It was like I was ignored! The security guard hired had not even come inside to take this obviously drunk 'nuisance' out of the building. This is when I started to get angry. I was repeatedly told by the bartender that I should just sit down because they couldn't kick him out. That's when I told them sternly that Cheers was private property and they could do such a thing - and what is the security guard for then?

I did not appreciate how I did not receive one apology, was not empathized with, or even receive compensation for my 2/3rd full beer I simply could not finish - being charged the full amount of everything. Upon paying for my transaction (giving no tip) and leaving I stated that I gave them a chance for poor service in previous times. It was then that another waitress yelled across the fairly-empty restaurant that if I didn't like it, I could go and talk to the manager the next day.

Mediocre food, poor service, downright rude waitresses, inconsiderate bartender, security for looks only...and a chunk of food still in my hair when I left = this Review in hopes that this happen to nobody in Abbotsford. To this date my family and close friends have not returned to Cheers (15 people at the least). If we had all gone once a month, and spent about $20 per person, that's a loss of $300 per month + tips ($3600+ annually)!! I very much doubt this will be the last Poor review of Cheers in Abbotsford.

I would say that the food is decent, but, the service ruins any good experience!
