Mars is no more. Closed. Will miss the best sushi Abbotsford had to offer. It is too bad the people here could not appreciate Mars

Abbotsfords hidden gem! If you like top notch Japanese food you won't be disapointed...best Japanese food and Sushi in town!!

I had pretty high hopes for this restuarant, and while I wasn't overly impressed, I certainly wasn't disappointed. I went with three others and it seemed that everyone was pretty satisfied with their meal. The service was descent, and the atmosphere is nice and classy. As for price, we all thought it was pretty reasonable. The rolls might be a little smaller than other sushi places, but they were delicious. I most definitely will be going back.

Mars Bistro has great food. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you won't be disappointed. It has a nice atmosphere and the portions are reasonable. The service can be hit-or-miss, but I don't mind because the food is excellent.

Best Japanese restaurant in Abbotsford - the chef is Japanese! Don't settle for California Roll when you can have Tuna tataki or Isobe age (my favourites)! Tell Mars to be creative and serve you a meal for a certain price and you won't be disappointed.

All of the reviews are true! This place is great. The only thing I could possibly see wrong with this place is that sometimes you might not get as much food as you would hope for. Other than that this place is incredible. The food is up there with the absolute best Japanese I have ever had... and I've been to Tokyo!! If you haven't been to Mars, I highly recommend it.

This place is single-handedly the reason that Sushi is my favourite food. Best Japanese food in Abbotsford by far. Watch for this place to become a very popular spot once the street outside gets fixed up and the condos are finished across the street.

This place is brilliant. Authentic Japanese food from a real Japanese chef. Some of the best sushi in Canada. Creative items like the pear role or oyster motoyaki. The chef previously owned a very busy restaurant in Kitsilano on 4th Ave, but told me he sold it in order to relax...Part of me wants to keep this restaurant a secret, but then the rest of me wants to see this guy get the success he deserves.

We must keep this guy in business!!! The location is hidden, but it's worth finding... this IS bar-none, the best Japanese cuisine east of Vancouver. We are so lucky to have Mars.

This restaurant has excellent food and well worth a visit. The sushi chef came over from Japan some years ago and opened up this local restaurant. If you want to try traditional Japanese dishes, this is the place to try!

Agreed! problably the best japanese restaurant in the lower mainland. Truly a gem in Abbotsford! This place does not even compare to the cookie cutter so-called Sushi restaurants in the Valley.
